Hello, My name is Nadeeshani, and I am a self-motivated fashion designer with a special enthusiasm for creative side of patternmaking. For me, patternmaking is not just a skill but a passion that has been deeply rooted in my life since childhood. What began as a playful hobby has now grown into an effective and rewarding activity that continuously fuels my creativity and connects me to the fascinating world of fashion design.
My love for patternmaking can be traced back to some of my fondest childhood memories. I still remember sitting with my grandma, cutting small scraps of fabric and carefully stitching tiny dresses for my dolls. At the time, it was a simple game, but it gave me immense joy and a sense of achievement. Little did I know that those playful afternoons would become the foundation of my career. Those doll clothes, imperfect yet full of imagination, were the earliest steps in learning how fabrics could be shaped, balanced, and transformed into something beautiful. My grandma’s encouragement and patience planted the seeds of creativity in me, and that inspiration has stayed with me ever since.
As I grew older, this passion only became stronger. After completing high school, I decided to take my love for design more seriously by enrolling in several courses in fashion design and patternmaking. These experiences gave me the opportunity to learn professional techniques, understand industry standards, and develop my own methods.
